Happy sigh.
And I’m especially fond of this guy.
Can you tell by my uber-happy face?
Credit goes to Joshua for the last two pictures.

Absolutely gorgeous family, Kristen. Glad to see you all are enjoying your vacation.
All photos beautiful, but the one of your husband and children on the beach is exquisite!
I have been subscribed to your blog for a while now…and it’s really nice to put a face to a blog!! Thanks for sharing these. You have a beautiful family!! It’s looks like you are having a great time!
You’re such a cute couple!
Great pictures, it looks like you have had a fantastic vacation. You have a beautiful family.
Cute!!!
I like the portrait of the two of you together.
Now the photographer in me says, “I’m thinking that would work well as a square crop in a frame. 4:3 is a harsh format with the white space on the side (textbook rule of thirds and all that).” Then remembering that it was shot by a little kid, I’m reminded that sometimes my experience and learning get in the way of good art.
So I give Joshua credit. Kudos! You never know, he may be a photographer when he grows up. My mom gave me her old 110 when I was in middle school and occasionally bought me film for it. I now have quite a few more cameras (and I just found a box of film I forgot about) but I’m still shooting lots of photos after all these years.
You have such a beautiful family! I love how happy you and your husband look together.
You have like 5 days of vacation left, right? Lucky! The photos are wonderful
Beautiful!!! I love all the white clothes – it makes great photos.
Kristen, I’ve been really encouraged to see that you can live frugally all year round and then have the means to have a really great holiday – and it’s good to see you’re not skimping on your holiday! You still eat out, go mini golfing, etc and seem to be having a wonderful time. Kudos to you and your family!
Now… yes yes I agree— beautiful family, fun vacation, great photos by Joshua! But the real question here is: How do you keep all those white clothes SO WHITE?!?!
Oh these are wonderful. Happy Vacation!
Franci-absolutely! Living frugally all year is part of what makes this possible.
Reese-my girls only wear those dresses to church. They don’t eat in them or play outside in them (except at the beach! lol). Also, the lovely thing about white is that in a pinch, you can always dab a bit of bleach onto a stubborn spot to remove it.
