Meat isn't a problem here because we have a cat. Are bokashi bins expensive over there? Perhaps it might be an investment for you? THis week temperatures soared and it made a difference to my food waste - some cauliflower and broccoli that went off before my very eyes. Tomorrow I'm going to use it in a hot sauce dip for the 4th of July. The trick is to cut it up the leftovers right after dinner or sometime the next day so the chicken doesn't make it's way to the back of the refrigerator where it will go unnoticed.
